Given its the first season for the Swans with their AFLW team they really wanted to lean into the support for the game and for their team and by profiling their matches in a large out of home fashion gave them the cut through they needed in a cluttered and busy marketing period for sporting events in Sydney. They experienced a boost in attendance with record crowds announced. It pays to think about how you can have some fun with traditional media by sprucing up the creative you use there and this was an example of doing just that.
