Challenge:

Football Aid Australia needed a bold, modern identity to launch its star-studded charity football match in 2026. The event’s purpose was more than just a game – it aimed to raise awareness and funds for mental health while bringing together celebrities, athletes, and fans. The brand had to balance entertainment and inclusivity while still feeling connected to football culture. The challenge was to create a logo and visual identity that stood out in a crowded sports and charity space, resonated with diverse audiences, and provided a flexible system across merchandise, digital, and live activations.

Solution:

We developed a vibrant and energetic visual identity that reflected the spirit of community and entertainment behind Football Aid Australia.

  • Logo & Symbolism: Built from football panels forming a connected community, with stars representing celebrity players and teams, the logo communicates unity, inclusivity, and purpose.
  • Colour Palette: A striking combination of hot pink, aquatic blue, and deep ocean navy brought energy, fun, and a sense of Australia’s coastal culture, while also providing flexibility across digital and physical platforms.
  • Typography: A bold hero font paired with modern secondary fonts created standout messaging and consistency across all channels.
  • Design System: Circular sub-graphics inspired by football, connection, and community gave depth and versatility, adaptable for merchandise, social content, and large-scale outdoor advertising.

Outcome:

The new identity established Football Aid Australia as more than just a game, it positioned the event as a cultural moment that celebrates sport, inclusivity, and purpose. The branding is scalable across social media campaigns, tickets, merchandise, and stadium environments, ensuring consistency and recognition.

Most importantly, it provided a strong, flexible foundation for an event designed to unite fans and players for a greater cause - mental health support. With a bold visual system, Football Aid Australia is ready to make its 2026 debut with an unforgettable look that amplifies both entertainment and impact.
